Word Wise 1 (First Class)

Word Wise is a series of activity books written by experienced primary school teachers and designed to foster the development of core skills in English literacy.

The series focuses on the key areas of Comprehension, Grammar, Oral Language, Vocabulary Development, Phonics and Writing. Activities are developed in the context of the strands and elements of the language curriculum. Vibrant and varied fiction
and non-fiction passages are provided, each accompanied by colourful artwork photographs, to aid comprehension.

The Word Wise series was created with a clear focus on oral language as a key skill. All vital genres of writing are addressed.
