This book contains 16 stimulating units dealing with all strands of the Geography Curriculum. The children are exposed to interesting and topical subjects such as weather, healthy foods, plans, maps, recycling and homes in general. They are brought from their own local environment to the wider world outside.
There are opportunities for the children to become involved in discussions as well as encouraged to design and make a rain gauge and devise plans for homes and schools. At the end of the book there are games, quizzes and projects to aid the teacher in the assessment process.
