We have added a reminders section and weekly reflections to the diary spread. The weekly quotes have been replaced with positive affirmations encouraging students to take responsibility for their wellbeing, their attitude towards their learning and the care of the environment.

This is our 2nd year getting this particular homework journal. It is so much more than a spot to write homework. It allows us to pass on information to the teacher, to discuss with our child what went well, what he's looking forward to and gives him some inspirarional mantras every week. The design is seasonal as well. It also contains useful info on Irish history, Common phrases in Irish and also info to get to know the rest of the world.
Long may it exist; I absolutely adore that journal to connect with our son.
